Administration - We view our school as if it were a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece is important and required to complete the picture. Our puzzle pieces are Administration, Staff, Building, and Program Content. When these pieces come together in harmony, we are a complete picture! We are small beginnings!

The owners of small beginnings have owned and operated licensed preschools in the state of Kansas since 1978, and have contributed greatly to their community. The Director has been recognized by Who’s Who in Business Executives and has received an award for 25 years of exceptional experience in the industry. As a school, we are members of the International Montessori Society, NAEYC (National Association for Education of Young Children), the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, the NFIB, and the Better Business Bureau.

 

Academics – Our school is a proven standard of excellence in the community. We believe that the best testimonial for excellence comes from the schools that our children attend when they leave small beginnings, and how parents feel when their children graduate our program. When asked about the entry level of these children, schools have stated that our children are considerably above their grade level and are excellent students in the classroom. In a study given to parents and from year-end testing of children, results show that children are excelling in all areas of development:
